Join us for our first ever Pelican Run 5k! All proceeds of this 5k will directly benefit our wildlife rehabilitation and environmental education programs. This 3.1-mile walk/run will take place at Haulover Park on Miami Beach. Get active while supporting a great cause, and you are more than welcome to either walk or run! *Due to the nature of the course, please no pets or strollers*
Race Shirts: All runners will receive a free 5k race shirt. If your shirt size is no longer available, please select "No Shirt" and we will provide you with a PHSS Branded shirt at pickup.
Race Number Pickup: Runners may pick up their race numbers on race day at Haulover Park starting at 6:30am. The race begins at 7:30am sharp so please plan on arriving at 7:00am at the latest.
Parking: Please follow the directional signage and park in the parking lot adjacent to the registration area. Please note that parking is NOT included in the registration fee and must be paid via the PaybyPhone app (Location #46265) upon arrival.
Awards: All runners will receive a participation medal upon completion of the race. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finisher medals will also be given in the following age groups:

All proceeds benefit the efforts of Pelican Harbor Seabird Station, a non-profit organization that was founded in 1980 for the purpose of caring for injured brown pelicans and has grown into an internationally recognized center for seabird rehabilitation.
The Seabird Station accepts all native birds, mammals, and reptiles. Injured wildlife can be dropped off 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We work closely with Federal, State, and local enforcement officials like the US Fish and Wildlife Service, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department, and Ocean Rescue. A special thanks also to Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces for being a valued partner and providing our location within Pelican Harbor Marina.
